where whispers lie

In shadows deep, where whispers lie,
A silent truth, a gentle sigh.
For in the end, when all is still,
It’s not the gold upon the hill.

No earthly treasures, bound to dust,
Can follow us, when we adjust.
But deeds of kindness, love’s embrace,
They weave the fabric of our grace.

So let us pause, in fleeting breath,
To ponder life, to dance with death.
For in its gaze, we find the key,
To live with purpose, wild and free.

In every heartbeat, time’s embrace,
A gentle nudge, a subtle trace.
To cherish moments, hold them near,
For when we part, what will we bear?

Not gold, nor jewels, nor earthly fame,
But echoes of our whispered name.
In deeds of kindness, we find our worth,
A legacy that spans the earth.

So let us walk with heads held high,
Embrace the truth, not fear the sky.
For when we’re gone, what will remain?
Our love, our light, our lasting gain.
